OverviewThe Peach Reaper is a Carolina Reaper that ripens to a soft peach-orange instead of fire-engine red. It has the same gnarled pods, the same signature stinger tail and the same brutal Reaper heat. It’s a little fruitier and sweeter up front, which makes it a favorite for peach and tropical superhot sauces.
We have grown California reapers for years. This was an experiment to see if there is a difference between California Reaper and Peach Reaper. The pods are very similar however the plant is distinctly different with variegated foliage and dark stems.
