Packing Twine is a fine purple basket willow (Salix purpurea) from Ireland. Its thin, slender rods are made for tight, detailed weaving, and they make a strong contrast against thicker rods in the same project. The rods dry to a dark brown.
Hand-cut from our own coppiced stools at Harmony Springs Farm in Blountville, Tennessee.
