This page is the living dataset for our 2026 seedling development cycle. It tracks every variety currently under lights, including days under lights, true‑leaf progression, and any notable observations. We update this dataset periodically as time allows.

This dataset is separate from the Germination Dataset, which tracks emergence timing. This page focuses only on post‑germination seedling development.

Columns:   Variety • Days Under Lights • True Leaf Status • Special Notes • Fatalities (if any)

🧪 How to Read This Dataset

Days Under Lights   Number of days since each variety moved from germination trays to the light racks.

True Leaf Status   A quick snapshot of development stage:

• None: Cotyledons only; no true leaves visible.

• Small: First true leaves (initial "nubs") are emerging.

• Full: First set of true leaves is fully expanded and dominant.

• 2nd Set: Secondary leaf development has begun (indicates high vigor).

• N/A (Not Assessed): Variety was inaccessible for observation due to rack placement.

Special Notes   Anything unusual or worth tracking (color, vigor, deformities, laggards, etc.)

Fatalities   Documented losses after transplanting to seedling trays.
